9/2/06 Eagle Wings 5K was the first race ever held on this cross
country running course at the Jacksonville Industrial Park midway
between Jacksonville High School and Jacksonville State University.
A collegiate cross country meet was contested later the same day.

5K, 4 Mile or 5 Mile Cross Country races (for all ages)
will be held at this location before every collegiate,
high school or youth meet on Saturdays that are not
the same day as another Coosa Valley Running event.

DIRECTIONS TO RACE LOCATION: 1199 Bear Blvd
From Highway 204 in Jacksonville, take Highway 21 South for 1.6 miles. Turn right onto Greenleaf Street which is directly across from a Cowboys Station on the left. Go 0.6 miles to the first stop sign and turn left. Go 0.7 miles and turn right at the Jacksonville Industrial Park sign. Go 0.2 miles to the parking area.
From Anniston, take Hwy. 21 North. Look for Jacksonville Medical Center on the left. Turn left onto George Douthit Drive at the first traffic light past the medical center. Go one mile to the stop sign at Jacksonville High School. Turn right onto James Hopkins Road. Go a half mile to the first stop sign and turn left. Go 0.1 miles and turn right at the Jacksonville Industrial Park sign. Go 0.2 miles to the parking area.

AWARDS:
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females overall.
Top 3 overall male and top 3 overall female winners are not eligible in age groups.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females in each age group:
9-under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,
55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100-over.

REGISTRATION  INFORMATION:
Fee is $12 in advance or $14 race day.
For Anniston Runners Club members, fee is $10 in advance or $12 race day.

T-SHIRTS:
Each entrant receives a t-shirt.
There will be an ample supply available on race morning.
However, if the supply is exhausted, t-shirts will be mailed
within two weeks to runners not receiving t-shirts on race morning.
