NOTES:
This Charity 5K Fun Run is Alan Tippet's Eagle Scout Project.
The Calhoun County Animal Shelter is a non-profit
organization and relies solely on charitable donations.
For Alan's eagle scout project, he is organizing this race
to give food , supplies and awareness to the animal shelter.

DIRECTIONS  TO  RACE  LOCATION:
intersection of Alexandria Road and C Street SW
From Highway 204 in Jacksonville, take Highway 21 South about one mile to the
first traffic light south of the public square. Turn right and go about a half mile.
At the closed yarn mill, turn left. Go 2 blocks and turn right into the parking lot.
From Anniston, take Highway 21 North into Jacksonville. About one and a half miles
after passing the Jacksonville City Limit sign, turn left on Greenleaf which is directly
across from a Cowboys Station on the right. Go about a half mile to the first
stop sign and turn right. Go about a half mile and turn left into the parking lot.

AWARDS:

Medals to top 3 overall males and top 3 overall females.
Medals to top 3 males and top 3 females in each age group:
10-under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-over.
Overall winners are not eligible in age groups.

REGISTRATION  INFORMATION:
There will be race day regisatration only
Instead of a race fee, the cost of admission will be a donation of any of the following items: Purina Cat/Kitten food (indoor formula); Purina Dog/Puppy food; Clay Kitty litter; Dog Treats; Pet Shampoo; Cat beds and Condos; Bleach; Cleaning Supplies (rubber gloves, paper towels, detergents, soaps, and all purpose cleaners); Leashes, collars, dog and cat toys, and food/water bowls. Purina brand is preferred, but any will do.Also, it would be nice if the bags were 25 lbs. and up.

T-SHIRTS:
T-shirts will be given to all participants in the race who make donations.
